Sarin: The White Dahliaby *Elzamine

He had returned a day early from his journey, no doubt Yue would be pleased to have him home ahead of schedule. Sarin tried his best not to make a habit out of offering his services outside of the city, but sometimes his sympathies could be persuaded. His wife was never happy about the news, but generally by the time he returned she was more relieved than mad.

Entering the house quietly, he padded his way to the shop, expecting to find Yue neck deep in some sort of potion or poison, he was instead surprised to find her bent slightly over a wooden sign, paintbrush in hand as she seemed to be concentrating on work.

The half-elf would never be quiet enough to sneak up on the former assassin though and she finished her paint stroke before leaning back to look over her shoulder at him. I named the shop, she smiled, seemingly pleased to see him.

"Oh?"

She nodded as she turned back to the sign, putting her paint brush aside and leaned the board up so he could see the words neatly painted along the dark stained wood. 'The White Dahlia' was painted in white, contrasting with the dark of the wood.

She had described him as such a flower on various occasions and the subtly was far from lost on him. It was good to be back.
